Privacy Policy

SJSR Labs ("we", "our", or "us") is dedicated to protecting user privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile applications handle user data, permissions, and device features.

This policy applies to all applications published by SJSR Labs across the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, including Softball League Broadcast (and related sports broadcasting apps), PulseBridge, and GIF to Chat.

1. Softball League Broadcast (Live Streaming App)

The Softball League Broadcast application allows authorized scorekeepers, administrators, and league staff to live-stream athletic games with integrated scoreboard graphics and real-time game overlays.

Device Permissions & Processing

• Camera (android.permission.CAMERA): Used exclusively to capture real-time live video of athletic games for live broadcasting. Video frames are encoded locally on your device and transmitted directly to the configured streaming endpoint (e.g., RTMP/SRT server) specified by your league organization. Video is not collected or retained by SJSR Labs for any other purpose.
• Microphone & Audio (android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO): Used exclusively to capture field sound and live commentary during an active broadcast session. Audio is encoded and transmitted synchronously with video to the destination streaming relay. Audio is never recorded or analyzed in the background when streaming is inactive.
• Account & Authentication Information: Broadcasters authenticate using their league administration username and password or a single-use broadcast token. Authentication requests are transmitted securely via HTTPS to the official league API server. Upon successful sign-in, an ephemeral authentication token (JWT) is stored locally on the device to maintain session state. Credentials are never shared with third-party data brokers or advertising services.
• Biometric Authentication (android.permission.USE_BIOMETRIC): If enabled, biometric authentication (fingerprint or facial recognition) is processed entirely by the operating system's secure hardware element (Android BiometricPrompt / iOS FaceID/TouchID) to unlock the app locally. Biometric data is never accessible to our application, never stored in app storage, and never transmitted across the network.
• Network & Keep-Awake State (ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, WAKE_LOCK): Used to monitor network connectivity during streaming, calculate bitrate throughput, and keep the device screen/CPU active so the live stream does not disconnect during play.

2. PulseBridge, GIF to Chat & Other SJSR Labs Apps

Push Notifications & Relay Data

For apps that deliver real-time alerts via Apple Push Notification service (APNs) or Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), the application may transmit a server endpoint and post/message identifiers to our notification relay.

• Technical routing data is used solely to deliver notifications to your device.
• We do not store message contents or personal identities on relay servers.

Health & Fitness Data

Certain apps may request permission to read or write health metrics (such as Heart Rate or Workout Records). Health data remains securely stored within Apple Health or Android Health Connect on your device. Health data is never collected, transmitted to external servers, or shared with third parties.

Bluetooth Connectivity

Bluetooth permissions are used strictly for local real-time communication with nearby fitness accessories or sensor hardware. Bluetooth payload data is processed transiently in memory and is not stored or transmitted externally.

3. Google Play Store & App Store Data Safety Summary

In compliance with Google Play Data Safety and Apple App Privacy standards, the following table summarizes the data types and permissions used by our applications:

4. Data Storage, Retention & Deletion

• Local Storage: Credentials and application preferences are stored securely on your local device. Logging out or uninstalling the application removes locally cached tokens.
• Account & Data Deletion: Because SJSR Labs does not maintain centralized user tracking databases, all scorekeeping and administrative accounts are managed through your organization's league administrator. You may request account deactivation or credential removal at any time through your league admin or by contacting SJSR Labs.

5. Children's Privacy

Our applications do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to our services, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to remove such information.

6. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may periodically update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in application features, legal requirements, or platform policies. The latest version will always be accessible on this page with the updated effective date.
